The Commonwealth of Massachusetts has been a significant part of American history ever since the first settlers arrived and set up Plymouth Colony. Since then, the state has been a hotbed of political and intellectual activity – the state is just as famous for the Boston Tea Party as it is for the incredible concentration of high-octane academic facilities it possesses. The western part of the state runs into the Appalachians and has beautiful wild scenery, and Boston has enough attractions (and beer!) to keep even the most finicky traveler satisfied for weeks. The next time you are in New England, come check out the Bay State and enjoy all that dynamic, beautiful Massachusetts has to offer.
